Families tell us what they want, in their own tradition, at whatever level they choose. Some want a caregiver who will simply sit quietly while a parent prays. Some want scripture read aloud. Some want none of it, and that is an equally good answer. If a family would like a caregiver to respect a practice without taking part in it, that is straightforward, and we would rather be told plainly.
